Pluto SDR on Mac OS?

Hi,

First, let me wish you an Happy New Year!

I've tried GQRX 2.9 on Ubuntu (, and i can easily use it with my Pluto SDR. But the same 2.9 version on Mac OS doesn't show any PlutoSDR source, and "plutosdr,uri=ip:pluto.local" doesn't work neither.

Is it normal? Is there any way to have GQRX work with Pluto SDR on Mac?

Mac OS X 10.12.6
Mac version 2.9 downloaded from https://github.com/csete/gqrx/releases
Ubuntu version 2.9 from xenial repository

My Mac OS X bundle does not include PlutoSDR support. I could not
build it the last time I tried and I did not have time to investigate.
I may try it again the next time I'm packaging but I can't promise anything.

Well, you can try to build it yourself or see if it is included in Macports.

I've tried with homebrew:
gqrx: 2.9-1
http://gqrx.dk/
/usr/local/Caskroom/gqrx/2.9-1 (1.6KB)
From: https://github.com/caskroom/homebrew-cask/blob/master/Casks/gqrx.rb

But no Pluto SDR neither :-(

Can't try Macports since it is not recommended to mix Homebrew and Macports.

Will try to build myself...
