SDR and Smart Meter

Is any one working on smart meter data using SDR to encode and decode soutput from the meters. I have an SDR and GQRX and I have llearn to see patterns but I am trying to learn if what I ams looking at is goint to or coming from the company. 

I am studying thiis and learning it one small piece of the puzzle at a tim. ONEHAACKADAY has software that decodes. I am downloading now to study it.

Anyone else studying smart meters?
