That should get me going in SDR ?

Hello Andrew,

If you get an Airspy Mini, there is no need for buying an RTL SDR dongle as well unless you want to do comparisons.  The BladeRF is also a very high performance RX/TX device supporting 300MHz-3.8GHz out of the box so I assume you want the BladeRF for the higher frequencies and/or transmit (Gqrx doesn't support TX btw).   If you want to hear lower frequencies, you should consider the Airspy Spyverter which is regarded as one of the best upconverters on the market and works fine with GQRX.
