listening to HF

Hi, i have installed 2.7 onto my mac running OSX 10.12.6 which seems to run fine. I can listen to stations above 26.5mhz without problem, however i want to listen to HF, 0-30Mhz. I thought to change the device string for direct sampling which did not work and assume this is wrong. What do i need to change, can you point me to the correct documentation for this?

Sorry, i should have noted that i am using a DVB dab and FM rtf usb tuner.

Hi James,

my understanding is that a hardware mod is required to enable direct sampling mode to work. See this link.

Alternatively use an upconverter, I built one using a 64MHz crystal from an old router and an NE602 based on this design but you can also buy them.
