Hi all,
I can use my rtl-sdr fine using gr-osmodr:
rtl_fm -f $FREQe6 -M wbfm -s 200000 -r 48000 - | aplay -r 48k -f S16_LE
I also have had success with gnuradio-companion. Yet when I start up gqrx, I get a message saying it has detected problems with the configuration, which is:
I/Q input
Device Realtek RTL2838UHIDIR SN: 00000001
Device string rtl=0
Sample rate 1500000
Bandwidth 0 MHz
LNB LO 0 MHz
Audio output
Device Default
Sample rate 48 kHz
and will ask "Do you want to edit settings?". I've played around with them using commercial FM settings, etc., but no luck. Each time gqrx starts I see the noise floor start to come up, then after maybe a half second the program freezes.
Also, I'm using gnudradio 3.7.6.1 on a gentoo box (~x86) and tried both the gqrx binary from the web site as well as compiling source. Same result. :-(
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Mike
