New Races

So far in our world mythos, there has been no reason to have other races. All players and NPCs are either human or animals. But there are some cases where a character could be defined as another race. Possible candidates are:

• celestial beings
• creatures from the Nox
• immortals
• mutants

The benefit of having a different race than human would be inherent abilities, resistances, etc. Alternatively, these differences could be provided through class features, feats, or powers.

Does it make any sense to introduce different races into the game?
