The Ross Island SUP Series starts Saturday

To all you sweepers in the crowd, this Saturday, (May 7th) is the
first of a three-race standup paddle race series on the Willamette.
This year features a longer course for race boards (6.5 miles) and
we've added a surfboard class to cruise the shorter route of 4.5
miles. We have a kid's race this year too! You can sign up online or
at the race starting at 8:30. Sign up for all three save $10 and get a
cool Purist water bottle.

A note to potential spectators...one cool thing about this course
which runs from Sellwood to the Marquam bridge (and back) is you can
view a good portion of the race from the Springwater Corridor trail.
Bring your bike to cheer on your favorite racer, especially at the
rounding mark right by OMSI.

We have a couple of sweet new race boards in and used boards too if
you feel the need for speed. The Amundson reps will be on hand at the
races to show their new line.
