Hi Guys,

You're welcome to explore and comment about my product which was almost 100% coded in GWT:

This link leads to the homepage, and clicking "Play Now" will lead you to the game itself, which was built in GWT.
If you have any questions about the design or implementation, feel free to ask!

The product looks pretty cool!

Can you share your experience in developing a game with GWT? Why did you choose GWT instead of other technologies (or even game engines)? How was/is the interaction between your developers and your designers?

I developed a card game years ago with GWT (it was on v.2.4.0 I think), but the company dropped the project later on, in favor of the Unity game engine.

Thanks and congratulations on your product!

Hi Gilberto !

I chose GWT for numerous reasons:
1. I have a ton of experience in Java
2. I could use one codebase and get optimized results for all browsers
3. I can get the browser-result, feed it to Cordova, and receive mobile apps. We already launched the mobile app on the Android store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pokerfighter&hl=en.

About the interaction with the designers, I am the sole developer of the software, and the interaction with my graphic designers was great. Can you elaborate what kind of potential issues do you feel that are different than other technologies in the scope of graphic designers interaction?

Pretty impressive! Do you mind saying how many 3rd-party libs you used on the client side? How much were pure GWT and how much were Javascript libs that were accessed using a native interface? And if you rolled things out, were they all Java transpiled?
