"Scan" a picture with GWT?

Hi,

I´ve one question:

Is it possible to "scan" a picture with gwt? 

Just very simple pictures, like some circles or recangles on it.

So I want to "scan" this picture with (for example) circles and then I want to draw this circles with canvas at the same postion.
