Hi there,

I succesfully figured out how to use the geochart API but struggling at a small detail I would like to use.

Here is the link to my page

I want to realize a fading border more precise I would like to have the border fade into the background around the map but only where it's not already transparent.
Does anyone has an idea how to realize this?

Furthermore is it possible to define the position of the tooltip i.e. closer to the cursor?

Cheers
Moritz

I think you will have to wait for the custom HTML tooltips to be enabled in the GeoCharts.

I guess there is no ETA for this, right? :)

So I just have to figure out how to get this transparent border around the map ^^
Been playing around with gradients and stuff but that's all behind the map. Maybe I can use a semi transparent image as an overlay *think*

Note that if you overlay, you will probably lose any interactivity in the region of the overlay.

mkay, so I won't do it. Maybe in future there will be an option to add some kind of blur to the map outer border
