I'm sure you guys are tired about hearing questions regarding tax forms but I think my case may be slightly special.
I am an international student currently studying in the US.
The funny thing is that I will be present in the states for a week after the coding period starts.
And the GSoC guideline emails have been stating that
... in the US on a visa, or physically present in the US during the GSoC coding period, you must submit a United States tax form to receive your stipend.
So I guess my question is, does staying in the states only for a week count for "physically present in the US during the GSoC coding period?
