GSOC prepration

I'm a first year student and I would like to participate in GSOC this and the next years. Please provide me information on how I can prepare, considering that I have knowledge of C.

Hey Kunvar, 

Google Summer of Code is a program helps to bring new people to contribute to free and open source community. I you have knowledge in C then pick an organization that you like for the list of organizations of GSoC 2017. See if you can contribute to any projects in there. Start contributing to whichever project you like or you find interest in.
