Does Google Maps API Premier work under VPN ?

I am new here.

The app I'm developing is sitting inside of my company's VPN, and the
domain name of this app is visible only through VPN connection.
Does Google Maps API Premier work well in this case ?

As long as the client computer has a working internet connection (to
the public internet) then I beleive it should work.
