Circle zIndex not working

I'm having issues getting the zIndex options of google.maps.Circle to
work... There's also a similar question on stackoverflow [1].

Here is a minimal example exhibiting the behavior:

Anyone see what's going on here?

This issue should be fixed in the latest release.
