One of the President Streets is South of the Antioch Campus and the other part of the street is North of the campus.

The street is clearely marked on the map, but it cannot be used for finding the Rockford Chapel because Google dosn't have the street in it's database.

David please provide a link if you want someone here to look at it. Go to the area in question and in the upper right corner click the "chain" and paste the short link in this thread.

The road is in the database, and the system has no trouble finding the address for the chapel.  http://goo.gl/maps/M2WbE

Is your issue perhaps that the chapel hasn't been mapped, and so it can't be found just by looking for it by name?

@Steve @Flash  I see where Andrew moved the location slightly down and to the right (edit pending), then there are 9 possible duplicates of the address which show different addresses, although they are all "Unnamed" Address.  Is there something at a deeper level that I can't see?  Also, since it appears that most if not all of these buildings are part of the Antioch Campus, should they be named in the fashion of "Antioch Campus: Rockford Chapel" and other similar names yet unique for each location?

Those are not blank, click on the "Details" link at the end of each.

No, that is not how we name things.  Items are to be named using their real world name.  The fact that they are on Antioch Campus is designated by drawing a boundary for the college.  Then, when you draw a building or another polygon (perhaps a tennis court) within the boundary, you are nesting them.  Just as the campus is nested within a city boundary, which is within a county boundary, which is within a state boundary, etc.  Into the mix is the more optional neighbourhood, built up area, civil division etc.

Sorry for not getting back to you. I have had other things on my plate.

This is the web site for the Quakers that meet at the Rockford chapel.

http://yellowspringsfriendsmeeting.com/

All that I know about it is that I went to one Buddhist retreat there and I am going to two AA meetings there. Some of the AA people have a hard time finding the place because they can’t find it on Google.

You will have to give us more details.  What are they looking up on Google?  Looking up the address seems to work fine.

This is all that I could find out on the net.

As a local I have had the right to take books out of the Antioch College library. I also know a woman who has worked with the Green County Historical society on the Antioch Publishing archives.

And of course I have lived here for a little under 40 years.

Got the address>

Rockford Chapel

515 President St.,Yellow Springs,OH,45387

The Rockford Chapel is listed on this plan. I think that they were trying to get some of their buildings registered as historical buildings. Note: this file is a very large file.

http://www.scup.org/asset/55276/Antioch_College_Campus_Heritage_Plan.pdf

They registered the main buildings, but not the chapel.

I probably know stuff that I don’t think about just because I lived here.

Is this the kind of information that Google needs?

David, please click on the link I posted earlier, namely http://goo.gl/maps/M2WbE.

This is what you get when you look up the chapel's address of 515 Presidents Street.

Is that the wrong building?

Thank you for your time. I am really intrigued about how mapping and GPS’s work. I was startled to find that your camera truck thought that the business “Earth Rose” was the business “Emporium Wines and the Underdog Cafe”. I assume that this had something to do with the rate of travel. Enough nonsense, I need to get to bed.
