Over a year now, and no fix. Please investigate!
Issue: Trends >> "Popular" always shows "Frontline LTD" for 'companies based on google searches'.
In the "Trends" section, four (4x) tabs are shown:
"Trends >> Popular | Price | Mkt Cap | Vol "
When selected, the "Price", "Mkt Cap", and "Vol" tabs show relevant stock "Gainers" & "Losers" based on Price, Market Capitalization and Volume. (no defect here)
HOWEVER, for the past year (since at least April 2015) displays:
"Popular searches on Google"
"Frontline LTD" (and stock price data). No other 'popular' companies are shown.
Either this is a defect in the page code, someone has hacked Google Finance to always show 'Frontline LTD' as 'popular', or
there's a bug in the algorithm that's supposed to return a result based on Google searches.
Please investigate. Or please give the issue to an Intern to resolve.
