Problems with uninstall?

Does anyone have advice on how to best uninstall google frame? I
already uninstalled this via the Add/Remove programs but it is still
somewhere embedded within my IE8 (on XP) based on the status from
http://www.google.com/chromeframe.

I tried to re-install google frame so I could uninstall it again - but
this will not properly install? I even re-installed IE8 to no avail.

Any ideas?

Background:

We have some internal software that breaks with the below code (which
I cannot change at this moment).

if(navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase().indexOf('chrome') > -1)
{
document.addEventListener("mousedown",someMethod,true);
}

Hi Mike,

Can you check if you have anything GCF related under this registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform

Or if you're running a 64bit OS:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform

i have problem to uninstall google chrome..
I tried to uninstall google frame - but
this will not properly uninstall.

I even re-installed google chrome...

Could you be more specific regarding Google Chrome Frame not properly uninstalling?  Was there an error message?  Look for a file named chrome_frame_installer.log in your %TMP% dir.  If you find it, what does it contain?
