chrome htaccess password problem

My chrome used to store/cache htaccess password. Suddenly the cache is storing wrong htacess password. And every time I have to re-type in the correct htaccess password, it does not remember the correct htaccess password. And I cannot find how to clear the htaccess cache for this domain so that I can re-cache the correct one.
