Breakpoint markers not showing sometimes

Sometimes when I click in the gutter to add a breakpoint, the marker doesn't show. I see the breakpoint has been added in the Breakpoints panel. This has happened on many occasions. When I click on the checkbox of the breakpoint in the panel, the marker shows up and then it clicking to set/reset from that point works.
