Hello, I was trying to learn how to work with the DevTools Sidebar API, and I can't figure out how to debug it.

I have developed a few chrome extensions in the past, and I know how to debug a background page or script, and an options page, but how do you debug the sidebar pane?

I'm also not sure where I would see console.logs if i wasn't able to see a full debug interface ( too much inception ;-) ).

This was the boilerplate i was using.

Any good help would be nice the google api docs are of limited help.

Justin, you can try inspector inception :)

Basically, open an undocked DevTools and then open a second (<cmd> <option> I) and in the console you should see your extension as a frame. sources, in the source pane etc.
