Device emulator on new tabs

I am using the device emulator feature with the help of chromedriver/selenium and it is very useful. Thanks for working on this feature!

I am using this for crawling some websites. However, the problem is, when the page that I open opens a new tab, the newly opened tab does not seem to have the device emulation features enabled. Is there a way to enable this for such newly opened tabs/windows as well. Please let me know.

The Developer Tools feature has an option in its settings screen (F1) - "Auto-open DevTools for popups". Perhaps that can help here.
