Network tab stopped recording form/post data

It used to be when I would create a recording (preserve logs) browsing a site and logging into it, chrome would record everything properly. I am working with WordPress and automating some testing where a user logs in and then I save the .HAR file and it would show up. The form data/POST request had the actual information. Now, when I tried to record, that request seems absent. Chrome network tab seems to ignore that type of request. What happened? How do I get this functionality back? Firefox still records this data but doesn't do some other things as well (inserting page breaks).

You can search crbug.com for an existing issue and star it. If you cannot find one, file a new issue using the "New issue" link on the same page.

Please, do not add a "+1" or "Me too" or "Confirmed" (or similar) comment. It just wastes the time of Chrome engineers and sends unnecessary e-mails to all of the people who starred the issue.

You can reply with a link to the found or created issue and might get triaged (and fixed) faster.
