What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.trying to create a webapp script using Google Apps Script HtmlService
that incorporates arbor.js for visualizing network.
2. replicated arbor.js code in a Google Apps script with appropriate
css/html/js files from demo
3. when running the published version, JavaScript console shows no errors,
but canvas doesn't seem to draw

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see a 5 node network diagram. Instead... nada

On what browser and OS?
Chrome, Mac

This may be some silly mistake I've made, but I think it's CAJA stripping
something.
