Hi there, I'm trying add a user to a primary calendar ACL that I know exists, but for some reason its coming back with an error. Here's the commands I'm using:

# gam calendar f...@example.com update owner f...@example.com

Calendar: f...@example.com, Update 1 Calendar ACL
Calendar: f...@example.com, Calendar ACL: (Scope: user: f...@example.com, Role: owner), Update Failed: Does not exist

Now when I try to verify the email address of the calendar I can see that it exists:

# gam user foo show calendars

User: f...@example.com, Show 2 Calendars
    Summary: Fun Holidays
    Description: Fun Holidays
    Location:
    Timezone: America/Los_Angeles
    Primary: false
    Access Level: reader
    Hidden: false
    Selected: True
Color ID: 17, Background Color: #9a9cff, Foreground Color: #000000
    Default Reminders:
    Notifications:
  Calendar: f...@example.com (2/2)
    Summary: f...@example.com
    Description:
    Location:
    Timezone: America/Los_Angeles
    Primary: True
    Access Level: owner
    Hidden: false
    Selected: True
Color ID: 14, Background Color: #9fe1e7, Foreground Color: #000000
    Default Reminders:
    Notifications:

Any insights as to why the initial update to the calendar ACL is failing?

Peter,

For a new ACL you want: gam calendar f...@example.com add owner f...@example.com

Thanks Ross, that was a new ACL, and changing from "update" to "add" fixed the problem.

Does f...@example.com exist?
