Change sharing permissions for a departing employee in my organization

Hi Team,

               I had a query. We have an OU in which users are migrated when they Leave our organization.

In order to better control data permissions, I was wondering if it’s possible that, the Day a user is moved into the “Last day” OU, can we restrict the sharing that he had done for his drive content with others, so that Untill we have a new owner for the departing employee’s drive, no one would be able to access the content from the drive?

i think that the correct syntax to make what you explain before should be:

Ross,

               I want to revoke all sharing permissions a user has provided if a user is in a specific OU.

Scenario: User A has left my organization. User B who is User A’s manager is active in an “Active” OU. The day A leaves, He is auto-moved to “Last Day “ Ou .

Now, User A has lot of data in his drive, which is shared with a lot of people. I want to revoke those sharing permissions so that the people cannot access A’s files, unless I make B an owner for A’s drive.

Only when B or someone else owns A’s data, the people with whom A had shared his content can access it again.

Hope this was clear.

 

All I am looking is for a command, to revoke sharing permissions for a user, somewhat like,

 

Example: GAM Revoke sharing drive user A.

I asked someone else and we don't see a good way to do the revoke. However, there is another method.
gam user depart...@domain.com transfer drive man...@domain.com
This transfers all of depart...@domain.com's files to a folder named "depart...@domain.com old files" in the root folder of man...@domain.com,
makes manager the owner and deletes any ACLs giving depart...@domain.com access to the files.
Later on, the files could be transferred to someone else.
