I have been using GAM for the last several days and am very appreciative of and excited about the tool! It's been extremely helpful in collecting information about my users, groups, aliases, etc. I've been able to do some importing from and exporting to CSV, so I'm getting a good handle on the use of the tool.

My one problem so far is that the interaction with resources seems to be broken. I have 11 resource calendars defined (they show under "My Calendars" for my admin user), but when I issue:
gam print resources
OR
gam print resources id email
(saw the above on a group post recommendation by Jay), I get "Retrieving All Resource Calendars for your account (may take some time on a large domain)" and then just get returned to my prompt with no results, even though I do have resource calendars defined.

I'm using 3.45 on windows.

Thanks!

Are you certain you you created resource calendars as described in the article at:

https://support.google.com/a/answer/1033925?hl=en

It sounds to me like you're creating secondary calendars which are not the same thing:

Thanks for the quick reply! No, I'm not at all sure. I inherited this environment and did not personally create anything in it. I've been using GAM largely as a discovery tool so far. Since I don't know how they were created, are you aware of a way via the UI, GAM, or the REST API directly I could ascertain whether these calendars are secondary calendars or resource calendars?

What is the email address of one of the calendars? You can find out the email address by going to the calendar settings.

if gam user <ad...@domain.com> show calendars is listing them, then that confirms they are secondary calendars, yes?

You can browse Interesting Calendars for the domain. If they show up in that list they are Resource Calendars. You can also look in the Admin UI under Apps - Calendars then click on Resource Calendars. The list of them then show.

Thanks, Erik and Jay. Looks like they were, indeed, secondary calendars created under the admin account instead of resource calendars. *sigh*
