Hi, I am using GAM to validate a migration from Google Drive to OneDrive. The metrics I am looking for are file count and file size.
Does someone know whether the show filelist function is realtime? in some cases it looks like the API is feeding me outdated data.

I use another 3rd party tool to migrate the GD to OD, for a particular user the 3rd party copies 9000 files, I validated this migration manually and everything seems to be there.
When I export the filelist using GAM I get a whopping 24000 files.... I filtered almost every column but until this moment I am unable to find the reason for this deviation.

Your help is much appreciated.

Nick,

What command did you use to export the file list?

Hi Ross,

The command I used is: gam user <user> show filelist allfields > output.csv

Then I use Excel to analyze and filter the rows.

Regards
Nick

Nick,

That's certainly the correct command.
Out of the 15000 additional files that gam lists, is the trashed column TRUE? Maybe the 3rd party tool didn't transfer the trash.
How about the parents.0.id column, is it blank? This would be an orphan, were they transferred?

Ross

Hi Ross, the log from the other tool produced multiple files which I did not realize :)
These logs contained more or less the 15000 files I could not find earlier.

Thanks.
