I would like to know how to force a report to generate and email to me, after a bulk update is completed using a CSV file. I would like the report to include the status each Google account that was updated(ie; Success or Fail and why). This way I can search through the report and find the Google accounts that may not yet be created, or they are slightly different than what we have on record.

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this. =+)

Bryan - Are you running GAM on Windows? If so, what OS version? What you're asking for is not capable with standalone GAM, but there's always the opportunity for a custom solution.

Thanks for the reply Nate!

I am running GAM on Windows 10, GAM v3.61. custom solution would be great. I was thinking there might be a switch somewhere that I have not yet seen to add the "save output(report) [location]".

What you need is likely something in Powershell that builds out your report as it moves along, then exports to CSV / HTML and sends that via email from the same script.

What kind of actions are you looking to report on and what are you looking for as validation of success or failure? i.e. "relocate users to new OU | confirm they were moved successfully"

The task would be updating Google accounts info. Another would be creating Google accounts. I would be fine with capturing all output from the task to a text document.

Then just adding > your_text_document.txt at the end should work, no?
Or is that too Linuxy? :-)
