Hi,

I have a wordpress installation with visual composer plugin installed running on google app engine. But when activating the plugin visual composer me is returned the error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /base/data/home/apps/s~wordpress-142514/wpfromstarterproject.395501197384399779/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/js_composer.php:1) in /base/data/home/apps/s~wordpress-142514/wpfromstarterproject.395501197384399779/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1174

Someone could use this plugin to wordpress within the app engine?

Hey Pedro,

It appears that this is an issue common to PHP developers. Is it possible that has some whitespace before "<?php"? Check this Stack Overflow answer for more details. Let me know what you find and if you have any further questions I'll be happy to assist.

I have this same problem. Actually, I cannot get ANY page builder plugins to work on app engine wordpress. Other plugins work fine. Page builder plugins (visual composer, elementor, siteorigin, beaver builder... etc) either return a fatal class error or editing tools don't show up at page edits. I opened an issue on the google app engine wordpress github project but no one has answered yet.

I really need help with this issue.

Thanks!

Hey Basil,

Could you try deploying your app to a Compute Engine instance to determine whether the issue is related to the App Engine environment specifically or is simply a case of the class dependency not being deployed along with your code? How are you managing installing dependencies / libraries in your project? Let me know and I'll be happy to help troubleshoot. Ideally, specific-issue technical support requests like this should be posted to Stack Overflow with enough information that someone can begin to understand the issue. Simply posting an error is often not enough to determine what might have caused it.

Cheers,
