API/CLI for uploading SSL Certs for AppEngine

Currently, to upload certificates for an AppEngine application, you need to go to a URL like this

https://console.cloud.google.com/appengine/settings/certificates?project=<ProjectName>&serviceId=default

Then you need to use the UI to upload the certificate + privatekey pair.

With LetsEncrypt requiring you to renew certificates every 3 months, it is easy to forget to do this in time.

Is there an API or CLI that can be used to upload the certificate and private key?

There appears to be something in gcloud for compute engine, but not for AppEngine.

There is no API/CLI at the moment, but its in the works and we're not far off!
