SSL Error on Flexible - Error - Failed to insert mapping

I've been trying to enable SSL for my custom domain for an app running on the App engine flexible environment - but I keep getting this error anytime I enable the domain for my certificate - Error - Failed to insert mapping and the SSL still remains unmapped.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this.

[UPDATE] After a few hours, the SSL mapping now works..
