gapi.auth2.isSignedIn property returns 'false' on my web app.

Hi,

i am facing issue in getting currently logged in google user. 

my gapi is loaded and auth2 is initialized.

then if i check 'gapi.auth2.isSignedIn' this returns 'false' even if my google user is logged in through gmail.

please guide if i am missing something or on wrong track.
