Importing a new ride file stalls

Starting with today's ride data when I try to import the file from my Elemnt or Strava the import stalls at 50% saving to the library. I tried deleting the ride for the previous day but now I cannot import it or today's ride. The program shows to not be responding.

Up to now GC has worked perfectly.
I am using Windows 10. GC version 3.4 build 3950. 327 activities.

I am getting this as well now. I'm also on W10 GC Version 3.4 bid 3950 Build date Nov 20 2016. I tried to add a dummy manual ride and this hung as well. This started today after amending ride details from the last month like missing TSS stats and weights on Non-Power meter rides.

I was able to move a ride bak file into the rides and it appeared but I still cannot add new rides. Is there a hangup at 367 rides? I saw another thread where a person had a similar problem at 365 rides on an earlier version GC. I tried some the suggestions from thst thread but they didn't work.

Nope I'm up at 1136 activities, all was good until I amended ride data. Now I've uninstalled GC and reinstalled but still the same problem

I have an athlete with over 7k rides.
