I am having problems with today's ride, in which I was attempting to set by PR for 1 hour power. I've attached the file, and two screenshots.
  • I was getting the same error message with version 3.1
  • Used the error message as a search term and ended up on the V 3.2 Troubleshooting guide
  • Before upgrading, attempted to export the file from Rubitrack and Training Peaks, then import with no luck.
  • Deleted files from athlete directory and "synced" with training peaks, same error message
Each time the file would import, PR data would be updated, but the computer slowed noticeably for a few seconds right after quitting the program. The error message alert popped up upon restart of Golden Cheetah. With V 3.1, the metrics (bests, etc.) would not be updated. Then I updated to V 3.2. I'm getting the same error message upon start, but the metrics are updated.

What I don't understand is the file follows the required naming format (see the last screenshot). The dates within the file seem to be right too. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Only other variables that I can think of. I use Dropbox to store everything, but have for years. I did use a new heart rate monitor today, don't know if that would communicate a date to the Edge unit?

Can you check your metadata setup and you are running the full 3.2 release (not a release candidate)  ?

I imported and saved the ride without a hitch, so wonder if your metadata is broken ?
Its a bit of a long shot !

Preferences > Data Fields

Should look a bit like this (this is from Linux):

Yet, when I delete the ride, it recognizes the right date...

Cool.

If it happens again, we should look at why that would happen.

Cheers
