go1.7rc1 next week?

It seems that 1.7 is looking pretty solid, and so I think we should aim to cut Release Candidate 1 next week (on Wednesday or Thursday).

It would be great if everyone would please take a look at the release dashboard and see if there are issues that they might be able to address/fix during the next week.
