Is it possible to build gccgo with Debug = 1 in mgc0.c ?

when I tried it, it I just got a broken go

Doing anything results in a

invalid gc type info for '      go_ast  ast.Scope', type info 0x7fd652817d80 [1]=0x2, block info 0x7fd652817480 [1]=0x1

fatal error: invalid gc type info

When I disabled that test in checkptr there were many other errors.

Is it possible to make this work?

Sorry, I don't know. I've never tried it. I'm working toward
replacing the current garbage collector with the concurrent GC, so I
don't plan to investigate this myself.
