New issue 92 by nvcn...@gmail.com: imports runtime: import "runtime":
cannot find package
http://code.google.com/p/goclipse/issues/detail?id=92

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fresh install Eclipse and GoClipse, Go1
2. Add Go path to .bashrc
3. Congfig GOPATH with Eclipse

Ubuntu 11.10, Eclipse 3.7.2

I can run, build go program with go tool, the path in my .bashrc is 100%
the same with I has type in eclipse but I can import any go package.

P/s: that's all I know for now, not thing much to say, hope some can help
me figure out what is happening!

Try to set GOROOT to App Engine's go folder and gopath to somewhere else,
like /home/nvcnvn/goext

I think that might work.

Well, I would think the problem is configuration based. Installing Ubuntu
again forces you to reconfigure, but that is a fairly drastic response to
your problem. You can still use 0.2.4.

Functionally, it isn't that different. The only thing 0.7.1 did was
include GOPATH and allow for a more flexible project structure.

Maybe GoClipse just isn't compatible with golang 1.0 ?

I see that the main page doesn't require a specific version of Go. But
isn't the version of compiler important?

As I see in the comments on this page:
http://code.google.com/p/goclipse/wiki/InstallationInstructions

goclipse isn't supporting go versions from go.weekly.2012-03-XX, i.e. from
March. So just r60 is supported. Shouldn't it be documented somewhere?

I think the goclipse version 7.x can work with Go 1.
I have install goclipse with eclipse on my Windows 7, it can work. Just not
sure what is happenning with the one for Linux.

Have you tried running Eclipse from the command line? Fixed it for me.

I had the same problem (on windows). I had to define the GOROOT Environment
Variable in Windows. Didn't know that the eclipse plugin needed that,
because of the configuration dialog.

Comment #17 on issue 92 by ustc.ha...@gmail.com: imports runtime:
import "runtime": cannot find package

I had the same problem, my GOROOT is /usr/local/go/
I used sudo go run test.go to run without getting "imports runtime:
import "runtime": cannot find package", I was too lazy to figure out the
way to do it without using sudo.
