I have set a goal to introduce Glowscript into my physics classroom this year.  I have toyed with it precious little.  Unfortunately, that leaves me here roughly 12 hours ahead of my students trying frantically to get some basics under control.  I am trying to position two cones right next to each other in this program.

No matter what I do, I can't seem to get one or the other to change position.  They are stuck on top of one another despite having a different position for their base.  Help?

I was experiencing this problem in a previous program that I was trying to write and decided to try to start a fresh bit of code with only two cones to minimize distractions and I can't get it to work here either.  I must have some fundamental misunderstanding of the pos attribute.  The documentation says that it is the location of the center of the circular base.  I must be missing something.

Hi Ryan,

It looks like the problem is that you're using "position" instead of
just "pos" for the position attribute.

Incorrect attributes are not uncommon mistakes for students, too, so
this is a good error for you to make! If I've been away from
Glowscript/VPython for any length of time, I usually have to remind
myself of the correct attributes using the help pages.

Cheers,

- Craig
