Jupyter VPython 1.0.8 now has button, radio, checkbox, slider, and menu. See

You can upgrade to 1.0.8 with "pip install vpython --upgrade" or (on Anaconda) "conda update -c vpython vpython". See details at vpython.org.

Here is a zip file of demo programs that includes two programs in two versions, one using Jupyter widgets and one using GlowScript widgets:

The advantage of course of the GlowScript widgets is that a program using them will work in either GlowScript VPython or Jupyter VPython. They are also particularly esy to use.
