Can't sign in via gitlab and github

I'm having trouble signing in via gitlab and github.

On the sign in page, if I try to sign in via gitlab and from gitlab via github, I'm successfully logged in to gitlab but redirected to plain gitlab.com not githost. If I go back to my githost manually I'm not logged in. I can reproduce it consistently whereas it consistently works for my colleague with his account. I've tried clearing all cookies etc. and it doesn't help.

Any ideas for how I get to log in?

However I'm experiencing a similar thing when authenticating with google.

If I understand correctly, you're saying that if you click the GitHub sign in button you will be redirect to GitHub to sign in, then redirected back to GitLab.com instead of your GitHost instance? What have you configured as the callback URL in the GitHub application settings? This is what dictates where you will be redirected to after successful sign in to the GitHub service.

Are you having this problem on GitLab.com or on another GitLab instance? I think your issue may be slightly different than the OP.
