Error in Gitlab-CI

Hello,

Problem: Continous Integration fails no matter what code is pushed. gitlab CI gives me the following error in the logs:

ERROR: Preparation failed: build directory needs to be absolute and non-root path

Is anybody familiar with this kind of error and how to solve it? 

Here is my configuration: 

$ gitlab-ci-multi-runner --version
