Dear list members,

I am using fortify.map to plot a shapefile but the polygons of the shapefile appear distorted.  Is there any solution to this problem?

Can you provide a reproducible example?

Cheers,
Roman

Dear Roman,

I found out that the distortion problem is with ggmap, but I know this is not the right place to ask the question for ggmap.  With ggplot the map looks right, so is not a problem of fortify.map.
