Windrose, Population Pyramids and Inventory plots in ggplot2

Hi All, 

I would like to get some help on how to create these plots in ggplot2. 

I have no idea how to create the inventory plots at all... 

Windrose and population seems abit easy. 

Has anyone created an inventory plot with ggplot2?

It might help to tell us (the list) what an inventory plot is,
exactly, and provide a link to an example.
