Next CRAN release with geom_sf?

Dear ggplot2 developers,

I'd like to submit a package update to CRAN which uses geom_sf of the current ggplot2 development version.

Since CRAN doesn't allow remote repositories (which is totally plausible...) in any package dependency, I was just wondering wether there is a planned release date for the upcoming ggplot2?
