ON page 55, under Example listing 1-39 -Lazy initializing a singleton scoped bean  the text states: "......If the value is false (as in case of the bean definition shown above),...."  The bean definition shown above this text displays that the lazy-init="true", not "false".

Are you sure that is what you wanted to state?
