Hi,

Is there a "Developing a Kernel Density Service with GeoTrellis" example for GeoTrellis ver. 0.9? The code found in this page is based on ver. 0.8 .

I want to rasterize point data I read from a shapefile using geotrellis.data.ShapeFileReader.readPoints. I thought the above example would be a good starting point to learn how to do this. But it seems like some APIs have been changed since ver. 0.8 and I cannot figure out how to make the example work in ver. 0.9. Could someone guide me how to do this?

Thank you.
Best,

Rob Emanuele

Hi Kotaro,

There isn't a blog post like there is for 0.8, but you can definitely do this. Is there a branch on github or some code I can look at to help you out? The best way would be for you to push up some code that I could pull down and muck with...my head is so entrenched in 0.10 code that I'd have to think about how to do anything in 0.9

Thanks,
Rob

Hi Kotaro,

I adjusted the labs1-demo to 0.9.0 while learning Geotrellis (and scala and spray and lots of other stuff) and published it on github: https://github.com/mfsny/gtdemo.git

Hope it helps.

Best regards,
Slavo
