The US Agency for International Development is hiring a web developer to work on web mapping and data visualization. USAID is the lead U.S. Government agency that works to end extreme global poverty and enable resilient, democratic societies to realize their potential.

The job is through Macfadden and Associates, working for the Office of Transition Initiatives. OTI supports U.S. foreign policy objectives by helping local partners advance peace and democracy in priority countries in crisis. Seizing critical windows of opportunity, OTI works on the ground to provide fast, flexible, short-term assistance targeted at key political transition and stabilization needs

The position would be part of OTI's Data Analysis Team, which includes GIS specialists, technologists and a graphic designer, and supports the office with mapping, training, technology and more. It's a fun team doing interesting work!
