Web based timeline?

Dear colleagues,
Any advice to build on-line customized Web based timelines? There a re a bunch of on-line products and services, free to paid, JS tools and modules
What do you use or what can you recommend pls

Something better than https://www.wmo.int/media/content/european-gallery
And also possibly a Drupal module

The project is Timeline JS by Knight Foundation : 


As you can see if you can easily feed the timeline with a Google Spreadsheet. Or you can try (I haven’t) the Drupal 7’s module that use Views to populate the timeline :
