We have great news for you!
Erik Hartman, a well-known Content Management Systems (CMS) and owner of Erik Hartman Communicatie based in the Netherlands will be making a presentation titled: "How to Make Your CMS Work for You – And Not the Other Way Around". His bio is available at: http://www.cmswire.com/author/erik-hartman/
When and Where?
The presentation will take place on Friday 4 December from 14.00 to 17.00, at World Health Organization (WHO, Avenue Appia 20, 1211 Geneva 27; no parking available, so please use public transportation or bycicle/legs/helicopter/etc.). Room is limited to 35 seats.
Practical information
- Registration is required. Please use the Doodle list at: http://doodle.com/poll/ka7gmup8s64pwpdx
- Fee: For this event, we are asking for 20 CHF to cover the presenter's travel expenses from and to Utrech, the Netherlands. If there is something left, it will be used to cover for coffee and snacks, as usual.
Summary
In his presentation, Erik will give some insight in the market of CM tools, the latest trends, and the challenges. With anecdotes, he will explain why so many CMS projects fail and what to how to prevent you from stepping into the most common pitfalls. Erik will also explain the role of a CMS in managing content through its full lifecycle, from creation to preservation. This will allow him to present an alternative method for selecting the right CMS for your needs.

- The names on the Doodle list have been provided to WHO Security, so you can pick up your bagdges at the Security desk there. Bring an ID.
- The presentation will take place in "Salle B". Take the main elevator to the third floor.
