processor specific e_flags for x86-64

Hi

Any reason why there is no processor specific e_flags in ELF header
defined for x86-64 architecture? It is there for SPARC, MIPS, IA-64,
PA-RISC, and many others, but not for x86-64. The x86-64 ABI (http://
www.x86-64.org/documentation/abi.pdf) also does not mention anything
about this. Are there any plans to define e_flags values in x86-64
psABI in future? My apologies if this is not the right group to ask
this question.
